The CMA Wants Updated Privacy Sandbox Commitments From Google By Next Month (CMA)

The CMA's latest report on Google’s Chrome Privacy Sandbox, delayed from July, covers Q2 and Q3. The CMA is largely satisfied with Google’s adherence to fair competition but has concerns about Google’s new user choice mechanism in Chrome. It urges Google to update its commitments accordingly.

Apple to face first EU fine under DMA (Reuters)

Apple is expected to become the first company fined by EU antitrust regulators under new Big Tech rules, sources said Tuesday. Regulators charged Apple in June, alleging violations of the Digital Markets Act (DMA), marking the Commission's first enforcement action under this legislation targeting tech giants.
